I heard preaching some months ago that touched me deeply. Among many things, I was touched by hearing so many times that we are running out of time. We cannot waste it. Yes, we’re young, but this doesn’t mean we have time to spare. We’ll never know exactly when our time will be up, and that means that every moment that we live may be the last one, so, it needs to be well spent.
Best friends always have a good story to tell, don’t they? Generally, the closer the friendship, the more detailed their story is. In the same way, all genuine Christians have a story with God and know exactly the special moment when God became real to them. What about you, do you remember your story with God? Through this series, you are going to be given an opportunity to have a new story with the Lord!

“Indeed we count them blessed who endure…” (James 5:11a)
Hannah certainly was someone that endured and as any other human being (although she had strong spirit) had her days of sorrow and of a dismayed heart. Hannah prayed: “O Lord of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember me, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a male child, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life…” (1 Samuel 1:11a). And if God didn’t take me away from this situation until now, He must have given up. I am abandoned, God doesn’t take care of me.” Continue reading “Is He still being good?”
Have you ever wondered how will it be when we are face to face with the Lord when He returns? This will indeed happen very soon and we will not be able to present ourselves in a reckless way. What does it mean to be a Child of God?
John the apostle starts the third chapter of his epistle saying, “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!” (v. 1). We are saved when we believe in our heart that Jesus the Son of God lived as a man, died to save us and was resurrected from the dead by the Father; and when we confess Him as our Lord with our mouth (Rom. 10:9-10). From then on we become true children of God. Continue reading “Do You Walk Like a Child of God?”
